How it Works

The LUCI is a small, electronic device about the same size and shape as a cigarette. It is battery-powered and has a vaporizer and replaceable nicotine/flavoring cartridge inside.

As the LUCI-user inhales through the device, sensors trigger the battery to activate the vaporizer, and a measured amount of the nicotine/flavoring cartridge contents are vaporized and delivered through the mouthpiece.  This produces an effect simulating the inhalation of smoke and delivering a measured amount of nicotine.

The cartridges contain a mixture of propylene glycol, flavorings and can contain  nicotine. They are available in three levels: high nicotine, medium nicotine or zero nicotine. Flavors currently available are:

How it Works

The SmokeStik is a small, electronic device about the same size and shape as a cigarette. The mouthpiece contains a replaceable cartridge filled with liquid. The main substances contained in the liquid are nicotine, propylene glycol, and optional flavors.

When a SmokeStik user inhales, the air flow is detected by a tiny sensor. A microprocessor then activates the atomizer which injects tiny droplets of the liquid into the flowing air and vaporizes the nicotine. This produces a vapor mist which is inhaled – just like smoke from a traditional cigarette.

According to the manufacturer, it tastes and feels just like a regular cigarette, and the user exhales “smoke,” just like they would with a traditional cigarette. They get the nicotine delivery without many of the harmful chemicals or tar that traditional cigarettes contain. An orange LED at the tip of the device is also activated to simulate the burning end of a lit cigarette.
